Nekonikon Punk: Ctrl+Break is Indies Today's 2024 Science Fiction Action/Adventure Book of the year!
This is absolutely the best trilogy I have ever read. And for sure the best way to end this amazing series was this book. I love the world building and every single character, I even missed some characters while reading this last book. I don’t want to spoil much, but I will say this, resistance will always win as long as heart and bravery are in this world. Thank you S.D. Miller for these amazing books. (Lisa Cavola-Goodreads)
"I absolutely love both Shuang and Metalfist. I really really want to see the full potential of their gory creepfest. Like, terrify me with the guys please Miller, I want more more more of the metal/bone gal and weird organic AI monstrosity. (Shona_reads_in_Devon-Goodreads Review)
"S.D. Miller demonstrates extraordinary world-building skills that leap from the very first page of this brilliant story, creating a dystopian environment that feels original, imaginative, and also uncomfortably familiar given some of the darker aspects of current world affairs." (Readers' Favorite)
"If you, reading this review, are a fan of the cyberpunk genre, you have to read this book as soon as you can. The characters are packed with distinctive features, both physical and psychological and is difficult, dare I say impossible, to not fall in love with all of them one way or another." (Matteo Calignano- Goodreads)
"A dark and gritty science fiction apocalyptic story with many twists and turns makes the story even more intriguing. An exciting and action-packed story for fans of science fiction political thrillers and mysterious underground societies. " (Bozena-Goodreads)
"Breakneck action and the plot’s many twists are balanced with philosophical depth and a natural but smart exploration of freedom, identity, and control in a tech-dominated world. It’s chilling to think how close some of these realities and horrors are to our own world, and Miller pens what could have been dry, tech-focused scenes with all the cinematic intensity they deserve. This also keeps readers guessing with twists that feel both shocking and earned, proof that cyberpunk can still surprise, dazzle, and make you think with your heart in your throat." (Indies Today)
